A Thank You and Welcome Home celebration 30 years in the making......

Governor M. Michael Rounds invites you and Vietnam War Veterans to the Vietnam War Memorial Dedication Events, September 15-16, 2006, Capitol Grounds, Pierre, South Dakota.

Events include: The largest of the 8 Vietnam Traveling Walls; Fallen Sons of South Dakota crosses with dogtags; USO tents with live music; concerts with The Red Willow Band, The Beach Boys, Credence Clearwater Revisited, and the Steve Miller Band; Parade led by Vietnam vets on motorcycles with a formation of Huey helicopters immediately above the bikes; flyovers by B-52, F16, and Mohawk planes; Live Vietnam Era Radio broadcasts all weekend by Adrian Cronauer; 60s/70s muscle car show; Dedication ceremony; Find-a-Buddy Locator tent; KIA/MIA Survivor's Memorial unveiling; Fireworks display; and more.
