Pagosa Springs, CO July 9 and 10, 2005

Just for the fun of riding, we set out Saturday July 9 after meeting at Fallen Angels Tattoo shop in Espanola and took the long way to Pagosa Springs via Chama, Dulce, Navajo Dam, and Ignacio. The return trip went through Chama, Tierra Amarilla, Tres Piedras, acroos the Rio Grange Gorge Bridge, Taos and back Espanola.

Making the ride were members Roadrunner, Tumbleweed, Sawbones, Boats, and Airbag. Hangaround Tina (to be road-named later) was there along with guest Nelson, Kim and Chris.

The back of the pack was made up of SA Sawbones barely visiable in the back, and guest Chris on the left in the back, Kim on the right and Nelson up close.

Boats and Roadrunner made up the left front side.

Roadrunner NMVMA Road Captian and Tumbleweed NMVMA President, of course you can't see Hangaround Tina and Patchholder Airbag because that is where the camara is!

The ride was going good all the way through Dulce when Tumbleweeds bike starting making a funny sound. Besides the lock and latch missing on the saddle bag it was found the service people had left out the transmission oil!!

So after a little oil was added and a little "redneck engineering" we were back on the road.

Had to throw this one in there of guest Kim and Chris, mainly because this was their first long ride and Kim is Hangaround Tina and Patchholders Airbag daugther. Oh Chris is her fiancee!

After our night in the Pagosa Lodge, we packed up and headed out for a breakfast and the ride home. Kim and Chris left us at Tierra Amarilla and took the shorter route home while the rest of us proceeded up US64 to the the look out at the Brazo Cliffs.

The weather was grest for the stop but......

we had to wake Boats up to get him to look around.

Of course put men in front of a camara and they have to show off. It must have been very hard to hold all of that in for that long. I think the cliffs did a better job.

Last this one is for Boats, I thought he was going to hurt himself when it went by!!
